WATCH: Award-Winning Community Paramedicine Program Highlighted by KFDA
Deaf Smith County Hospital District’s community paramedicine program has reduced the hospital’s readmission rate to zero, a significant reduction from 35 percent before the launch of the program. The program was recently honored with the Texas Hospital Association’s highest award for quality in recognition of the positive impact the program has had for the community.
Candice Smith, CEO, Deaf Smith County Hospital District, and other hospital staff and leaders sat down with News Channel 10 to discuss the program and its role in advancing care for the Hereford community.
