HRMC Lunch and Learn
Community health care and school officials highlight health and wellness issues important to the region in an upcoming forum open to the public.
Hereford Regional Medical Center and Hereford Independent School District Health Services will host a Women’s Lunch and Learn April 12 at 12 p.m. The event will be held at the Hereford Civic Center and will feature guest speakers Dr. Tabitha Davies and Dr. Ashley Hawes, who each practice family medicine and obstetrics at Hereford Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Davies and Dr. Ashley will facilitate discussion around maternity care and women’s health, and available options for prenatal care, newborn care, labor and delivery, and surgery. They will also cover the recent improvements made to the labor and delivery unit at Hereford Regional Medical Center.
“Factual, open discussions around important health care issues are critical for every community, and events like this are another way the hospital is advancing health care for Hereford.,” said Jeff Barnhart, CEO, Deaf Smith County Hospital District. “The Women’s Health Lunch and Learn is a fantastic way to connect with our community and make sure they have the resources and tools they need to improve their health.”
