Hereford Regional Medical Center will host a blood drive Dec. 21.
Seasonal illnesses brought on by colder weather and a lower availability of donors due to holiday and vacation travel combine to create an uphill battle for hospitals working to keep up with the demand for blood this time of the year.
Start a new tradition this holiday season and schedule an appointment to help your hospital keep blood supplies up during the holidays.
