Employee Spotlight: Cynthia “Cindy” Zapata, LVN
Licensed Vocational Nurses are the backbone of a clinic. They’re often the first face a patient sees, the steady presence during a visit, and the consistent link among providers, patients, and families. Cynthia “Cindy” Zapata embodies that role every day.
Cindy has dedicated over 10 years of service to Hereford Regional Medical Center, bringing reliability, skill, and compassion to her work as an LVN at Hereford Health Clinic. She consistently puts patients first — listening closely, responding thoughtfully, and making sure each person feels seen and cared for. In a fast-paced clinic setting, that level of attentiveness matters.
As an LVN, Cindy plays a critical role in keeping the clinic running smoothly. From patient intake and clinical support to ensuring continuity of care, she is someone providers and patients alike can count on. Her dependability and professionalism set the tone for the entire care team.
“Thank you, Cindy, for always being dependable and punctual, and for being someone everyone can count on. You truly are exceptional, and we are blessed to have you at Hereford Health Clinic and Hereford Regional Medical Center.”
— Jennifer Beltran, Director, Hereford Health Clinic
Cindy leads by example, supports her teammates without hesitation, and shows what excellent clinic-based nursing looks like in practice. Her impact is felt every day — and her commitment to patient care does not go unnoticed.
