Hereford Regional Medical Center welcomes Dr. Phillip Jansen to the team at Hereford Health Clinic, strengthening our services to the region and adding to our deep bench of medical providers. With more than 25 years of experience in family medicine, Dr. Jansen’s compassionate, comprehensive care comes from his commitment to helping patients looking for answers to their health and wellness need. He is available for new patients.
Dr. Jansen is board-certified in family medicine and has practiced in a variety of rural and community settings across the country. His clinical interests include office procedures, diabetic and cardiac care, and sports medicine. He is known for his taking the time to listen and prioritize patient feedback and concerns, which has resulted in building strong, trusting relationships with families.

Dr. Jansen earned his Doctorate of osteopathic medicine from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and has served in leadership roles throughout his career, including as a medical director, educator, and committee chair. He’s committed to practicing medicine by treating the whole patient and providing continuity of care through every stage of life. His practice helps anticipate patient needs downstream to ensure future needs are met by the local care team, and in some cases, other providers.
