National Hospital Week: Celebrating the People who Care for our Community
May 12-18 is National Hospital Week, when we recognize hospitals as community pillars and celebrate the dedicated health care professionals who make great care possible for Deaf Smith County and beyond.
“Our incredible staff and care teams are the reason our hospital, clinic, and EMS team are able to provide such a wide range of high-quality care services for our community,” said Candice Smith, MSN, RHCNOC, CCRN, Deaf Smith County Hospital District CEO. “Our providers and staff are constantly looking for new ways to give more to our patients, and we applaud them.”
From our award-winning community paramedicine program to our Medicare Wellness Center, Deaf Smith County Hospital District is a model of rural health care.
For more than 100 years, National Hospital Week has celebrated the hospitals, health systems, and health care workers whose care and dedication strengthens our communities.
