Nurse Practitioner spotlight: Michelle Williams
Nurse practitioners like Michelle Williams, FNP, help the Hereford care team deliver excellent care.
Williams began working at Hereford Regional Medical Center in 2019 and brings 26 years of nursing experience to the community. As an FNP (family nurse practitioner), Williams works with patients at all stages of life, diagnosing patients, prescribing medications, and developing treatment plans.
“I love working as part of a skilled and collaborative care team at Hereford,” said Williams. “Our entire team is supportive and works well together to deliver the best possible care for every patient we see.”
Williams’ nursing career includes 12 years of critical and intensive care unit experience, and 11 years as the charge nurse for an electrophysiology lab, where care teams diagnose a variety of heart conditions. Williams maintains her cardiac electrophysiology certification (RCES) and works with patients experiencing cardiac health issues including hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and heart failure.
Hereford Regional Medical Center’s team-based approach to care means physicians, nurse practitioners, and nurses are in regular communication about patient care to make sure our patients’ needs are met appropriately and in a timely manner.
When you see a member of our care team, you can be assured you are seeing an experienced, highly trained professional who cares about you and your health.
