Deaf Smith County Hospital District to Honor L’Allegra
April 12, 2021 (Hereford, TX) – Deaf Smith County Hospital District will unveil a plaque to honor L’Allegra and the organization’s generous support of the hospital at a private ceremony on Tuesday, April 13 at 5:15 p.m. at the hospital.
“We are immensely grateful for L’Allegra’s continued support and generosity,” said Jeff Barnhart, CEO, Deaf Smith County Hospital District. “We know there are many causes worthy of support in our community, and we are honored that L’Allegra chooses our health care system for their philanthropy.”
L’Allegra has donated more than $70,000 to the hospital over the last couple of years. The contributions have helped fund purchases of a third ambulance to serve the community and essential equipment to help COVID-19 patients.
“L’Allegra exists to enrich and serve our community,” said Tamara Vogel, Project Christmas Card Chair, L’Allegra. “Supporting Deaf Smith County Hospital and their important work to care for our citizens fully aligns with our mission and values, and it’s our honor to be a part of their work.”
L’Allegra is a local women’s study club with a mission “to study topics of general interest to the members, to carry out projects of civic and social improvements and to promote good fellowship among members.”
Due to space constraints, the event is not open to the public. Members of the media interested in attending should contact Jodi Jordan at 806-349-9116.
