Deaf Smith County Hospital District Thanks L’Allegra Study Club for Generous Donation
Deaf Smith County Hospital District is the recipient of a $62,500 donation from L’Allegra. These contributions by members of our community help assure high-quality health care in our community now and in the future.
“We are so immensely grateful for L’Allegra’s continued support and generosity,” said Jeff Barnhart, CEO, Deaf Smith County Hospital District. “We know there are many causes worthy of support in our community, and we are honored that L’Allegra chooses our health care system for their philanthropy.”
In years past, L’Allegra’s contributions were used to purchase essential equipment to help COVID-19 patients. With L’Allegra’s gift, HRMC purchased six additional vapotherm machines that deliver high-velocity oxygen and help patients avoid intubation and mechanical ventilation.

This year’s donation is the result of L’Allegra’s Annual Project Christmas Card.
“L’Allegra is delighted to support our local hospital,” said Tamara Vogel, Project Christmas Card Chair, L’Allegra. “Over the last few years, we’ve all seen how important it is to have a strong health care system, and Deaf Smith County Hospital District is essential for the health and well-being of our community. It’s our pleasure to make this donation.”
L’Allegra is a local women’s study club with a mission “to study topics of general interest to the members, to carry out projects of civic and social improvements and to promote good fellowship among members.”
