Deaf Smith County Hospital District Receives Generous Donation From L’Allegra Study Club
Deaf Smith County Hospital District received a $70,000 donation from L’Allegra as part of the group’s 2023 Project Christmas Card. The donation will be used to purchase updated equipment for the hospital.
“We are beyond grateful for L’Allegra’s generosity towards our hospital, and by extension, our patients,” said Candice Smith, MSN, RHCNOC, CCRN, Deaf Smith County Hospital District CEO. “Their consistent support for the care we provide is invaluable, and I know I speak for every member of our team when I express my gratitude for their gifts to our community.”
Previously, L’Allegra donated $62,500 to the hospital as part of its 2022 Project Christmas Card fundraising effort.
“L’Allegra could not be more thrilled to support our local hospital,” said Hereford Mayor and L’Allegra Project Christmas Card Chair Cathy Bunch. “Deaf Smith County Hospital District is a pillar in our community, and it is our pleasure to support the hospital and the important work the Hereford team does to promote health and wellness across our region.”
L’Allegra is a local women’s study club with a mission “to study topics of general interest to the members, to carry out projects of civic and social improvements and to promote good fellowship among members.”
