Deaf Smith County Hospital District Launches Cardiology Services with My Heart Health Program
Deaf Smith County Hospital District is expanding its services with the launch of the My Heart Health program. Once a month, cardiology specialists from the Cardiology Center of Amarillo will be on-site at Hereford Health Clinic to conduct heart health check-ups, manage medications, and perform lab work and diagnostic tests. The program begins June 11 and patients can begin scheduling appointments immediately.
“Expanding access to quality health services for our communities is a major priority for our hospital,” said Candice Smith, MSN, RHCNOC, CCRN, Deaf Smith County Hospital District CEO. “This partnership is a fantastic opportunity for our community to stay on top of their heart health and get access to expert cardiology services right here in Hereford.”
My Heart Health Program check-ups include:
Routine heart exams
Lab work
Treatment for high blood pressure
Medication refills and adjustments
EKGs (electrocardiogram)
Echocardiograms
