Celebrating the Heart and Soul of the Hospital
The volunteers who contribute time, energy, and compassion to Hereford Regional Medical Center are the heart and soul of our hospital.
These volunteers have donated hundreds…and, in some cases, many thousands, of hours, to the hospital and our patients.
Whether they are welcoming people to the hospital who are visiting family or friends, making sure the gift shop has seasonal items and get-well gifts for purchase, or offering a compassionate touch or message of support, our auxiliary group is critical to the work we do to take care of our community.
In July, we recognized four volunteers with service pins commemorating their years of service to the hospital:
- Sharon Bodner, 5 years
- Gail Richardson, 5 years
- Terrye Rhyne, 10 years
- Ann Cummings, 25 years
We also recognized volunteers who have donated a substantial amount of time in service to the hospital:
- Gail George, 100 hours
- Patti Dirks, 100 hours
- Janie Castillo, 200 hours
- Debbie Gonzalez, 200 hours
- Carolyn Maupin, 200 hours
- Teddie Poindexter, 250 hours
