Winter storms across the country have disrupted blood donation efforts, leaving hospitals struggling to maintain the supply needed for patients. With cancellations, icy roads, and travel delays, the nation’s blood banks are running low. But here in Hereford, we have a chance to make a difference.
Hereford Regional Medical Center is hosting a community blood drive on Friday, March 14, 2025, and we invite you to be a part of it. Every donation has the power to save a life — whether it’s a trauma patient, someone undergoing surgery, or a neighbor battling a chronic illness.

- Local impact – Donations made here stay in our region to help friends, family, and neighbors.
- Quick and easy – The donation process takes less than an hour but can mean a lifetime for someone in need.
Who Can Donate?
Most healthy adults over 17 years old (or 16 with parental consent) and weighing at least 110 pounds are eligible to donate. Be sure to eat a good meal and stay hydrated before coming in.
