Honoring Our Physicians on National Doctors’ Day

National Doctors’ Day gives us a meaningful opportunity to pause and say thank you. Behind every clinic visit, delivery, diagnosis, and late-night call is a physician who has chosen to serve this community with skill and heart.

At Hereford Regional Medical Center, our doctors are not just providers. They are familiar faces in the hallway, steady voices in difficult moments, and trusted partners in some of life’s most important decisions. We are deeply grateful for the care they give and the relationships they build every day.

Dr. Earl Chase

Emergency Medicine

Dr. Earl Chase cares for patients across generations, helping individuals and families in the emergency department. He brings thoughtful guidance and consistency to each visit. Emergency medicine requires patience, perspective, and trust. Dr. Chase embodies all three.

Dr. Trevor Rohm

Family Medicine

Dr. Trevor Rohm approaches family medicine with a focus on prevention, continuity, and practical solutions. He works alongside patients to help them understand their health and make informed decisions. Whether addressing a new concern or following up on ongoing care, he brings steady attention and a commitment to doing what is right for each individual.

Dr. Howard Johnson

Family Medicine and Obstetrics

Dr. Howard Johnson’s work spans primary care and obstetrics, allowing him to walk with patients through many chapters of life. He may see a patient for routine care and later care for them during pregnancy and delivery. That kind of continuity strengthens families and strengthens communities. His dedication to keeping maternal care local makes a meaningful difference for growing families.

Dr. Larry McCullough

Obstetrics and Gynecology

Dr. Larry McCullough provides specialized care for women at every stage of life. From preventive screenings to prenatal care and delivery, he supports patients with experience and compassion. Having access to obstetric and gynecologic care close to home offers reassurance for women and their families, and his presence is an important part of that stability.

Dr. Phillip Jansen

Family Medicine

Dr. Phillip Jansen focuses on long-term health, helping patients manage chronic conditions, maintain preventive screenings, and navigate everyday concerns. His care is grounded in listening and steady follow-through. Over time, those relationships become the foundation for better health outcomes and stronger trust.

“Our physicians bring professionalism, integrity, and genuine compassion to their work every day,” said Candice R. Smith, MSN, RHCNOC, CCRN, RACR, CEO of Deaf Smith County Hospital District. “We are proud of the way they care for this community and grateful for the leadership they provide within our organization.”

On this Doctors’ Day, we say thank you. Our community is stronger because of you.
