Employee Spotlight: Israel Olivo
Maintenance Department
Israel Olivo has been a trusted member of our Maintenance Department since 2018, consistently going above and beyond the expectations of his role. The maintenance role is mission-critical — responsible for ensuring patient rooms, clinical equipment, utilities, safety systems, and infrastructure function without interruption. If these systems fail, patient care could be impacted.
Israel understands that reality. He responds day or night to any department in need, addressing issues quickly and thoroughly so care can continue safely and without delay. His work helps protect patients, support clinical staff, and maintain a safe, reliable environment for everyone who walks through our doors.
Beyond his technical skill, Israel brings professionalism, calm leadership, and compassion to every situation.
“As Israel’s supervisor, I can confidently say he is one of the most dedicated and selfless employees on our team. His responsiveness, professionalism, and spiritual guidance during difficult moments set him apart. Israel truly exemplifies service, integrity, and excellence,” said Johnny Zambrano, maintenance director at Hereford Regional Medical Center.
Israel’s dedication reflects the essential role maintenance plays in our operations—and the high standard he sets every day ensures our facilities remain safe, functional, and ready to care for the community.
