General Surgery

Our state-of-the-art operating rooms and highly skilled nurses, surgeons and anesthesiologists mean that we can perform procedures, such as appendectomies, colonoscopies, C-sections, hysterectomies and other gynecological procedures, laparoscopic procedures, hernia repairs, joint replacements, and orthopedic procedures, close to home, which makes your surgical experience and recovery easier and more comfortable.

Prenatal Care

Regular prenatal care is key for a healthy pregnancy. Our clinic obstetricians work with you over the course of your pregnancy to monitor your baby’s development and do routine testing to help find and prevent possible problems. Preventive, Primary and Acute Care

The Hereford Regional Medical Center clinic is your local source of high-quality primary and preventive care to help you stay healthy and to take care of you when an illness or minor accident sets you back.

We also offer comprehensive care management if you’ve been hospitalized to make sure your healing journey stays on track once you leave the hospital.

We encourage you to schedule an appointment for your care needs, but we understand that sometimes you need to see someone more quickly. Walk-in hours are available for those times.

Chronic Care Management

For our residents with chronic care needs, we offer close-to-home, high quality care management. We work with you to make sure medications are appropriate and not contraindicated and that any rehab or ongoing treatment needs are being met. We offer outpatient IV and antibiotic therapy, including central line and port access.

During a monthly 20-minute phone call, we make sure your care needs are coordinated, managed and met.


Our state-of-the-art rehabilitation program and facility includes inpatient and outpatient physical therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy and respiratory therapy. Whether you’re recovering from an illness, accident or injury or are a child with a developmental delay, our team of therapists design a customized program to help achieve your goals. Close-to-home rehabilitation means not having to travel to get the care, treatment and support you need to be back to full function.

Post-Hospitalization Recovery (Swing Bed)

Hereford Regional Medical Center is able to meet the post-hospitalization recovery needs of our community by providing short-term, hospital-based, skilled facility care. This is a short-stay extensive rehab, meeting the needs for physical, occupational and/or speech therapies to restore previous levels of function as quickly as possible.

The Swing Bed Program is for patients who no longer need acute care yet may not be strong enough to return home. This program is best and recommended for patients whose goal is to return home. Patients who have been hospitalized at any hospital, including HRMC, may receive this care at HRMC. Read more.

Wound Care

Hereford Regional Medical Center offers inpatient and outpatient care for acute and chronic wounds. We’re here to provide compassionate, state-of-the-art health care close to home.

Our wound care specialists include a certified wound care nurse and trained OR nurse.

We provide:

  • Skin grafting.
  • Debridement.
  • Wound vac.
  • Dressing changes.
  • Care for complex wounds that require physician-managed medication.
  • Care for diabetic foot ulcers, pressure ulcers and slow-healing wounds.

Our radiology team provides the highest quality inpatient and outpatient radiology and imaging services to our patients utilizing the best technology in bone density, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, X-ray, CT scan, and MRI.
