Dr. Tabitha Davies

About Dr. Davies:

Dr. Tabitha Davies is a board-certified family physician with HRMC. She is somewhat new to Hereford, but not new to Texas.  Dr. Davies grew up in Austin, graduated from Howard Payne University in Brownwood, and attended medical school in Fort Worth at the UNT Health Science Center.  During medical school, she spent several months in the panhandle, mostly in Perryton and Plainview.  During her time in West Texas, she discovered the charm of rural living.  After medical school, Dr. Davies moved to Memphis, Tennessee for Family Medicine residency. She subsequently completed a Surgical Fellowship in Advanced Obstetrics, also in Memphis.  She is currently board certified in Family Medicine and will take the second part of her board certification for Obstetrics in November 2020. Clearly, Dr. Davies likes to deliver babies, but one of her favorite aspects of family medicine is watching children grow and develop as families mature.  She also enjoys getting to know patients as individuals and helping them through health issues over time to navigate different life stages. Dr. Davies is a world traveler - a love that was instilled at an early age by her father who frequently traveled for work and sometimes brought her along.  Her desire to help people through medicine was solidified on a mission trip to Haiti with her church, and her most recent medical trip was to the Quiché region of Guatemala in 2019. Dr. Davies is married to the love of her life, Mr. Samuel White, and has a infant daughter. To make an appointment with Dr. Davies for obstetrics or primary care, call the Hereford Health Clinic at (806) 364-7512.
